Co-Solvent Injection

Improve Sensitivity using Co‐Solvent Injection

A new benchmark of design compact and inventive

Poor peak asymmetry is often a result of strong sample diluents causing the sample band not to be focused at head of LC column. Early eluting peaks are more susceptible as they are not focused by the elution gradient; this leads to lower sensitivity and quantitation inaccuracy.

Shimadzu's new Co‐Solvent injection solves common troubleshooting challenges caused by strong sample diluents by supporting analyte focussing at head of LC column. This results in:

  • Improved peak shape
  • Improved sensitivity
  • Improved quantitation accuracy of the peaks
